Vanuatu Officially Launches Passport Office in Dubai

The Government of Vanuatu has officially launched a new passport office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on December 04, a significant step in strengthening the security and integrity of Vanuatu citizenship through investment programs and the passport process.

The new office is expected to be able to issue passports to Vanuatu citizens and collect biometric information. Recently, Vanuatu Department of Immigration is only issuing electronic biometric passports that meet international standards. Biometric enrollment is now mandatory for new applicants.

The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Home Affairs Andrew Solomon Napuat; Minister of Public Works Xavier Emmanuel Harry; Consul General of Vanuatu in Dubai Andrew Leong; and other government officials, highlighting the importance of this milestone for Vanuatu’s global presence.
